WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
& FILMMAKER
IN THE FRENCH ALPS

I'm doing more and more simultaneous photo and video coverage for certain kinds of events in the French Alps. It gives the client a consistent artistic approach across everything that gets created, and it brings the overall budget down because there's less logistics to pay for.

As a photographer and filmmaker based in Grenoble, in the heart of the French Alps, I've specialized in corporate and public event photography, as well as documentary coverage, corporate portraits, sports and outdoor work.

I work as a photographer and filmmaker across the French Alps and the wider Rhône-Alpes region — from Lyon down to Valence, taking in Voiron, Chambéry, Aix-les-Bains, Bourgoin-Jallieu, Annecy, Grenoble, Annemasse and Gap.But I can travel anywhere else in France too — there's no geographic limit. Travel time and costs are billed on top for weddings further afield, and I'll tell you exactly what that comes to before you book.Note that there's no travel fee at all within an hour's drive of Grenoble.

Absolutely. I can shoot your corporate portraits and business headshots, whether you're a team of 10 or 500 people. I'm the photographer for the job.

Photos are usually delivered within one week, as a link to a private gallery (web-optimized files for fast browsing) plus a download link (high-resolution files for printing). For a video project, allow within three weeks on average.

I work as a photographer every day of the year (apart from my few weeks of vacation, of course!). My hours are very flexible and I work weekdays just as much as weekends.

I can step in on the whole preparation side of creating the content (the part that calls for technical and artistic know-how) ahead of a photo or video shoot: script, direction, production, writing the questions and the dialogue, and more.

As a filmmaker in the French Alps, I handle the entire content creation process, from helping write the brief and directing, to the shoot itself, editing and color grading.

I'm used to working alone on all my photo and video shoots across the French Alps, which lets me guarantee the responsiveness and the professionalism I expect of myself. That said, as an event and wedding photographer I do sometimes team up with a photographer when I'm shooting video, or with a filmmaker when I'm shooting stills. Good communication is crucial in those cases, so we never get in each other's way or interfere with the other's work.

You can extend a photo or video shoot right up to the last minute, if the event runs longer than planned or if you'd like more coverage. Each extra hour is €175 for photo and €225 for film.

I've been a certified drone pilot since 2020, which means I can fly legally and with full insurance.Depending on the venue and the date, permits have to be filed to fly safely. I unfortunately can't guarantee 100% that we'll get the shots we want: that depends on the authorities and on how much notice we can give them.

Shooting interviews is a regular part of my work, whether for corporate, institutional or nonprofit projects.

When you hire a photographer or filmmaker to create photo or video content for an event or an ad campaign, say, you're paying for their work but not for the intellectual property of what gets created (even when it's about your company or your product). That stays with the photographer or filmmaker, who then grants you usage rights to publish the content wherever you want. The price of those usage rights depends on the scale of the release, based on three criteria: where it's published, for how long, and on which media. For every photo or video project I shoot, I automatically include a two-year usage license, worldwide and across all media. After that, any further use of the content is open to negotiation.
